The 2009 burn will take place on Saturday, September 26 in the Stockholm, WI village park.

The Art+Fire Project is an interactive performance artwork on the shore of Lake Pepin in Stockholm, WI. Each year, we invite regional and international artists to help us design and build a large wooden sculpture. Members of the community of every age background, skill level are invited to help construct the sculpture and create willow frame lanterns which will be displayed for the public during a day long event in September. At the end of an afternoon of live music, concessions, and craft projects for all ages in the park, we light the sculpture on fire and burn it to the ground.
This project is made in conjunction with the Lake Pepin Art & Design Center, located in Pepin, WI. For more information, please contact us at pepinartdesign@gmail.com.
